In the summer of 2018, I was part of the first Healthy Bees Healthy Lives class at St. Kate's. It comprised of lectures and in class labs, while also receiving hands on experience with a hive placed at St. Kate's. It provided first level beekeeping skills and taught information about the bee's habitat, including information on human and environmental impact. I was privileged to hold a small gallery opening of the photos I took in class called Bee-utiful Lives.
